NCT ID NCT06168019

First seen Dec 11, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study follows 10,000 pregnant women in Nagpur, India, from early pregnancy through 42 days after birth. Researchers want to see if catching flu, COVID-19, or other respiratory viruses raises the risk of problems like preterm labor or severe preeclampsia. The goal is to gather evidence that could change current Indian guidelines, which do not recommend vaccinating pregnant women against these viruses.
