Summary
This study tested a new freezing device (iCLAS™) to treat persistent atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heartbeat lasting over a week. 215 adults aged 18-80 received the procedure to see if it safely restores normal rhythm. The goal was to reduce serious complications and prevent arrhythmia recurrence.
