Glow-in-the-Dark dye could help surgeons spot hidden cancer in kids

NCT ID NCT07054944

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a safe green dye, called ICG, can help surgeons see which lymph nodes might contain cancer in children with solid tumors. About 10 children will receive the dye during surgery, and doctors will check if it makes the right lymph nodes glow. The goal is to make lymph node removal more accurate and reduce unnecessary surgery.
