Ice pack eases pain after heart surgery, study says

Summary
This study tests whether placing an ice bag on the groin area after a heart procedure (called PCI) can reduce pain and bruising. Sixty adults who had the procedure through the femoral artery will be enrolled. Researchers will measure pain levels and check for hematoma (a bruise-like swelling) at the puncture site.
