Can a smartphone app help young people with psychosis cut back on cannabis?

NCT ID NCT05310981

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested a mobile health app called ICanChange to see if it is acceptable and feasible for young adults (ages 18-35) with psychosis who also have cannabis use disorder. About 100 participants used the app to set personal goals around cannabis use. The main goal was to see how many people completed the program and stayed in the study, not to measure direct health outcomes.
