First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at the small intestine's bacteria and chemicals in 90 people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand the role of gut microbes in IBS, not to test a treatment.
