Doctors track how patients stick with bowel disease treatment

NCT ID NCT05384080

Summary

This study observed patients in Poland with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis who were already taking the medication vedolizumab. Researchers tracked whether patients continued their treatment, switched how they received it (from IV infusion to under-the-skin injection), or stopped over two years. The goal was to understand real-world treatment patterns and outcomes, not to test a new therapy.
