New study aims to unlock the mysteries of Crohn's and colitis

Summary

This study will follow 100 adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, for 3 years. Researchers will collect blood, stool, and tissue samples, along with imaging and diet information, to better understand how genetics and immune cells affect the disease over time. Healthy relatives are also invited to participate by providing a blood sample for genetic testing.
