Summary
This study looked at whether medical hypnosis can lower stress and make the hospital experience better for people with chronic diseases. Twenty-four adults staying in an internal medicine unit took part. One group received a hypnosis technique called "the place of safety," while the other group received standard care. The researchers measured anxiety levels at discharge to see if hypnosis helped.
