First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether medical hypnosis, combined with relaxing music, can reduce anxiety in cancer patients who are moderately to very anxious during their radiation treatments. About 45 adults with solid tumors will be randomly assigned to either listen to music alone or listen to music plus receive hypnosis during each radiotherapy session. The main goal is to see if more patients in the hypnosis group have a meaningful drop in anxiety scores by the end of treatment.
