Heart scans could personalize blood pressure treatment for young adults

NCT ID NCT03762499

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a heart ultrasound to routine check-ups can help doctors better manage high blood pressure in young adults aged 18 to 40. Researchers will collect data from 750 participants during their regular clinic visits and follow them for up to 10 years. The goal is to find patterns that improve risk assessment and treatment, without changing the care patients normally receive.
