Heart scans could revolutionize blood pressure treatment for young adults
NCT ID NCT03762499
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a heart ultrasound to routine check-ups helps doctors better manage high blood pressure in young adults aged 18 to 40. Researchers will collect data from 750 participants over up to 10 years to find patterns that improve risk prediction. The study does not change standard care—it only adds a one-time ultrasound and uses existing clinic information.
