First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looked at whether breathing pure oxygen in a special chamber (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) could help heal jaw damage caused by cancer radiation. The trial planned to include 20 adults with long-lasting jaw bone damage, but it was stopped early. The goal was to see if the treatment could fully heal the bone and reduce pain.
