Summary
This long-term study follows 250 adolescents and young adults with sickle cell anemia to understand how the medication hydroxyurea affects their growth, puberty development, and future ability to have children. Researchers will monitor participants over time through regular check-ups, blood tests, and fertility assessments. The goal is to gather important information about reproductive health outcomes for people living with this chronic blood disorder.
