Summary
This study tested whether a special dressing (Hydrosorb) works better than a water-based spray for treating skin irritation caused by radiation therapy in breast cancer patients. 278 women with early signs of radiation rash took part. The goal was to see which treatment better prevented the rash from getting worse and allowed radiation to continue without interruption.
