First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special dressing (Hydrosorb) is better than a water-based spray at managing skin irritation from radiation therapy in 278 women with breast cancer. The goal was to prevent skin damage from getting worse and avoid interruptions in radiation treatment. Patients with early signs of skin redness or peeling were enrolled and their skin, pain, and quality of life were tracked.
