Brain valve gets 3-Year checkup

NCT ID NCT05397106

Summary

This study is tracking patients for three years after they receive a specific programmable brain shunt valve. The valve is used to drain excess fluid in the brain, a condition called hydrocephalus. Researchers are collecting standard care data to see how well the valve stays in place and functions over time. The goal is to monitor the long-term performance and safety of this medical device.
