First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a Chinese herbal medicine (Huazhi Rougan Granule) to standard antibiotics can better treat both a stomach infection (H. pylori) and a type of fatty liver disease (MASH). About 286 adults who have not been treated before will receive either the herb or a placebo along with antibiotics for 2 weeks. The main goal is to see if the herb helps clear the stomach infection more effectively.
