First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether Huaier Granule, a traditional Chinese medicine, can help treat protein in the urine—a sign of kidney damage—caused by targeted cancer drugs. 76 adults with advanced liver or bile duct cancer who already had protein in their urine took the granules for 8 weeks. The main goal was to see if the protein levels improved, stayed stable, or got worse.
