Summary
This study tested whether a traditional Chinese medicine called Huaier Granule could reduce kidney damage in people with advanced liver or bile duct cancer. The kidney damage is a common side effect of powerful targeted cancer drugs. For 24 weeks, 76 participants took the granule to see if it could lower the amount of protein in their urine, which is a sign of kidney stress.
