Summary
This study tested a single dose of an experimental drug called HTX-011, given directly into the surgical site during bunionectomy, to see if it could control pain and reduce the need for opioid painkillers. 78 adults having foot surgery took part. The goal was to find a better way to manage pain after surgery with fewer side effects.
