Summary

This study tested a single dose of an experimental painkiller called HTX-011 given directly into the surgical site during bunionectomy. 78 adults having foot surgery received the drug to see if it could control pain and reduce the need for opioid painkillers. The goal was to improve recovery with fewer side effects.
