NCT ID NCT07399171

First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug, HT-4253, to see if it can lower the risk of Alzheimer's disease in people who carry the APOE4 gene and have early signs of brain changes. About 112 adults aged 50-75 with no memory problems but a high-risk blood test result will take the drug or a placebo for 48 weeks. The goal is to move participants from a high-risk to a low-risk score on a specialized blood test that measures Alzheimer's-related proteins.
