First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study is for people with a favorable type of throat cancer caused by HPV. Researchers want to see if giving less intense radiation and chemotherapy, based on the patient's HPV type and virus levels in the blood, can control the cancer just as well as standard stronger treatments. About 250 adults will take part to test this personalized approach.
