First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily dietary supplement containing EGCG (from green tea), vitamin B12, hyaluronic acid, and folic acid can help men clear an HPV infection and support natural defenses in the genital tract. The study involves 96 participants (48 couples) where the male partner has HPV and the female partner does not. Half of the couples will take the supplement for 6 months, and the other half will receive no supplement. Researchers will check if the supplement helps men test negative for HPV and may improve sperm health and reduce transmission risk.
