First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how extra body fat affects muscles and blood vessels in people with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. Researchers will measure muscle health and blood flow before and after participants lose at least 7% of their body weight using standard weight-loss medication. The goal is to understand if weight loss can improve exercise ability and reduce inflammation in the muscles.
