Can a simple message change how you check your medical records?

Summary
This study aims to understand how different wordings in messages affect whether patients review their electronic health records and report potential errors. Researchers will test if focusing on positive or negative consequences in messages makes people more likely to check their records and report mistakes. About 3,000 participants with access to their online patient portal will complete short surveys and review their health records as part of the study.
