Scientists probe the bilingual Brain's language switch
NCT ID NCT07226921
Summary
This study aims to understand how people who know two languages control them during different tasks like listening and speaking. Researchers will enroll 360 healthy adults who are proficient in both Mandarin and English or in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English. Participants will complete word and picture tasks while their speed and accuracy are measured to see how the brain manages switching between languages.
