Scientists map how bilingual brains juggle languages
NCT ID NCT07226921
Summary
This research aims to understand how people who know two languages control and switch between them during different tasks like listening, speaking, and naming pictures. The study will involve 360 healthy adults who are proficient in either Mandarin and English or American Sign Language and English. Researchers will measure participants' accuracy and speed on language tasks to learn how the brain manages multiple languages.
