Summary
This study aims to understand how antipsychotic medications, specifically haloperidol, might block insulin's normal action in the brain. Researchers will enroll 35 healthy adults to measure brain activity and metabolic markers before and after receiving insulin through a nasal spray. The goal is to learn why these medications often cause weight gain and diabetes risk, which could help make future treatments safer.
