Summary
This study looked at whether placing a hot water bag on the abdomen can reduce pain and help restore normal bowel movement in people with ileus (a bowel blockage). Sixty adults with a specific type of ileus took part. The main goal was to see if this simple, non-drug method could relieve pain and improve bowel function.
