First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving a small daily dose of a hormone (human menopausal gonadotropin) after egg retrieval could improve the chance of having a baby for women undergoing IVF. 600 women aged 20-40 took part. The researchers measured live birth rates, pregnancy rates, and miscarriage rates to see if the extra hormone helped.
