NCT ID NCT07172789

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether lying with the head down before a procedure to remove a blood clot in the brain can improve recovery for people having a severe stroke. About 210 adults with a large blocked artery will be randomly assigned to either a head-down or flat position before treatment. The goal is to see if this simple position change helps protect the brain and leads to better outcomes.
