First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether 'Hope Groups'—small, peer-led support groups—could improve mental health and parenting for Ukrainian caregivers affected by war. Over 500 caregivers took part, with some joining groups and others on a waitlist. Researchers measured anxiety, depression, parenting practices, and child abuse to see if the groups made a difference.
