First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tested whether 'Hope Groups'—small, peer-led support groups—can help Ukrainian caregivers affected by war. Over 500 adults took part, with some joining groups and others on a waitlist. The goal was to see if these groups improve mental health, reduce violence against children, and promote positive parenting. Results will show if this low-cost approach works in a crisis.
