Summary
This study tested a new vaccine to prevent hookworm infection in 39 healthy adults who had never had hookworms. Participants received different vaccine formulas and were later exposed to hookworms in a controlled setting to see if the vaccine worked. The goal was to check safety and whether the vaccine could stop infection.
