First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study will follow 1000 adults in Hong Kong who have both type 2 diabetes and a common liver condition called MASLD (fatty liver disease). Researchers want to understand how these two conditions interact over time and what factors predict serious outcomes like liver scarring or death. Participants will provide health data and samples to help identify early warning signs and improve future care.
