Light device zaps leftover plaque after brushing
NCT ID NCT06860321
First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested a home-use dual-light antibacterial device to see if it could remove more dental plaque than regular brushing and flossing alone. Twenty healthy adults took part in a crossover trial where they used the device alongside their normal routine. The goal was to measure how much leftover plaque the light treatment could remove from tooth surfaces.
