NCT ID NCT06291922

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a home-based exercise program, guided by a smartphone and activity tracker, can help people who have a new HeartMate 3 heart pump become more active, stronger, and have a better quality of life. About 100 adults who recently received the pump will either follow the exercise program or receive usual care. The goal is to see if the program improves daily steps, walking distance, frailty, and muscle mass.
