At-Home brain zapper trial aims to ease phantom pain
NCT ID NCT05188183
Summary
This study is testing whether a portable, at-home brain stimulation device, combined with sensory training exercises, can effectively reduce phantom limb pain. It will involve 290 adults with limb amputations who regularly experience this pain. The goal is to see if this non-drug, home-based approach works better than usual care alone in a real-world setting.
