NCT ID NCT06580743
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a home body water analyzer can help detect lymphedema early in women treated for breast cancer. Lymphedema is arm swelling caused by fluid buildup, and catching it early is key because early stages are reversible. Researchers followed 52 women for 12 months, having them use a home device twice daily to measure fluid levels, while also checking them at clinic visits. The goal was to see if home monitoring works as well as clinic tools for early diagnosis.
