Could a simple finger prick replace painful blood draws for cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07491380

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple finger-prick blood test can reliably replace standard blood draws from the arm for monitoring medication levels in breast cancer patients. Researchers will compare drug concentration results from both methods in 90 patients taking common breast cancer drugs. The goal is to make treatment monitoring more convenient and less invasive, potentially allowing patients to collect samples at home.
