Could a simple blood pressure cuff at home protect hearts after spinal injury?

NCT ID NCT07488793

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, at-home treatment using a blood pressure cuff can improve heart and metabolic health in people with spinal cord injuries (SCI). Researchers want to see if repeatedly inflating the cuff on an arm or leg for short periods is safe, doable, and helps blood vessels and cholesterol. The goal is to find an easy, accessible way for people with SCI to lower their long-term risk of heart disease.
