Summary
This study tested a 12-week exercise program for 62 teenage boys with kyphosis (excessive rounding of the upper back). One group did a holistic program that combined corrective exercises with posture awareness training, while another did only back-focused exercises. Both exercise groups saw a decrease in their kyphosis angle and reported better quality of life. The holistic group also improved their balance.
