Summary
This study tested a 12-week exercise program for 62 teenage boys with kyphosis (a rounded upper back). One group did a holistic program that combined corrective exercises with posture awareness training, while another group did only back-focused exercises. Both exercise groups saw a significant decrease in their kyphosis angle and an improvement in quality of life. The holistic group also showed better balance. The study suggests that adding posture training to exercises may enhance results.
