Putting HIV patients in the Driver's seat: a new approach to treatment interruptions

NCT ID NCT07220278

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to help people with HIV who have stopped taking their medication. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, participants can choose which services they receive and how. The goal is to see if this choice helps more people achieve an undetectable viral load after 12 months, compared to standard care. The study will enroll 800 people in Malawi.
