First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at a new way to help people in the Dallas County Jail get access to PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. A patient navigator will meet with interested inmates to discuss HIV risk, offer testing, and connect them with PrEP providers after they are released. The goal is to see if this approach increases the number of people who actually start PrEP in the community.
