Researchers probe link between HIV drugs and liver fat

Summary
This study aims to understand if different types of HIV medications affect the development or severity of fatty liver disease in people living with HIV. Researchers will follow 200 Chinese patients to see if starting with or switching between two common drug classes leads to differences in liver fat and scarring. The goal is to gather knowledge to better monitor and manage liver health in this population.
