First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at 320 people with HIV to create tools that can predict who will develop fatty liver disease or liver scarring. Researchers will track changes in liver health over time using ultrasound and a special scan called Fibroscan. The goal is to catch liver problems early in people with HIV, who are at higher risk due to the virus and its treatments.
