First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at a newly discovered condition called histiocytosis that affects people who inject drugs. The condition is linked to a substance called polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) found in some pills. Researchers will study 30 patients to better understand symptoms, diagnosis, and outcomes. The goal is to improve detection and learn how the disease works, not to test a new treatment.
