New study aims to find best pain block for hip surgery patients

Summary
This study tests two types of nerve blocks to see which one controls pain better after hip replacement surgery. About 90 adults aged 65 and older will receive either a PENG block or a combination of ESPB blocks before surgery. The goal is to reduce the need for strong painkillers and help patients walk sooner.
